I Will Not Leave You as Orphans

As His impending arrest draws nearer and nearer, Jesus’ words become

even more intense and important for His disciples. Now, He shares with

them about the world that they will go to after He is gone. This world is

sinful and unrepentant. There is tribulation. But what hope is there in a

world like this? Jesus reassures them and us, “I have overcome the world.”

And not only that, He so loved the world that He came to bring His

righteousness to those in the world.
