I Will Not Leave You as Orphans

We have reached the end of Jesus’ words in the Upper Room. After speaking to his disciples, Jesus lifted his eyes to heaven and prayed. This isn’t the first time that we read about Jesus praying, but it is the longest, most passionate prayer recorded. He prays about his relationship with the Father, for his disciples, that God might glorify his Son, but overall, he prays that his followers might be One. Today, we continue to pray that prayer. Lord, let us be One, united in You.
