Today, as we celebrate the Ascension and Mother’s Day, let us be grateful for the love of God in Christ Jesus and the gift of mothers and motherly love. Like a mother who nurtures and cares for her child, so does God nurture and care for His Children in an even greater way through Jesus’ Ascension and the sending of the Holy Spirit. Let us rejoice that Christ is Risen, Ascended, and He will return!
